the sucker just seized,Iwant to know what is the best way to fix it.take it all apart ?if so what then ?do they make whole kits to fix them ? what kind is good?is there any place i can learn more about them? is there anything i should look at or for?

OK, it has seized, but how? What are the symptoms? Doesn't crank, cranks but doesn't start or what??? You have to be more specific! There are zillions of possibilities what could be wrong, mechanical or electrical, it could be something easy to fix or something really serious, so start typing if you want our help! BTW how old are you & were r u from???

the sucker froze i think i need to rebuilt it .it will not turn over . i think it was ran out of oil . it was a free car with all kinds of parts just a froze motor.

Right, take your engine apart. Basically, you'll have to change bearings, probably piston rings, check case, crankshaft & cylinders - they may recquire some machining, so try to find a good local machine shop. Also make friends with the local VW community - they can provide you great help, tech tips and save you serious $$$

I am new at the Volkswagen seen have been a mechanic most of my life never on vw what I have is a dune buggy fiber glass body engine is an H block dual port my question is on the crank pulley does anyone make a aluminum one all with all the degrees on it that has the spiral thread on the snout that slides inside the engine the one that came with it is aluminum but is smooth and possibly part or all of my oil leak

I've found it a problem to locate aftermarket pulleys with the correct spiral machined in them also. Good luck.
